Document Migration Service

New service to assist in migration to Unicode.
We are pleased to announce the launch of a new service to assist clients who are moving from non-Unicode to Unicode based documents, fonts and applications.

Many of our clients have been using non-Unicode versions of applications with many different codepage versions of the same typestyle. They now find that opening existing documents in new Unicode based applications causes much of the existing text from documents produced in the non-Unicode application to be either missing or garbled.

With our extensive knowledge of codepage based font encodings and Unicode we are able to recode many existing non-Unicode documents into Unicode, and to provide the client with Unicode based OpenType fonts for the new Unicode documents.

TrueType Instructions or Hinting

If you have a TrueType font that looks poor on screen, or need a good representation for intranet or general office use, then adding TrueType Instructions or hints to the TrueType font information will improve the quality of the on-screen appearance without changing the look of the printed output. This is a highly skilled and time consuming process, so not all fonts will benefit from the use of this technology. Contact us for more information regarding costs, timescale and suitability.
